1 July 2021 – .eu domains now WITHDRAWN

Anyone who has a .eu domain and has not updated your Reg-C details with a physical location within the EU will now have seen that the domain has been moved from SUSPENDED to WITHDRAWN status.

A domain name in the WITHDRAWN status is not in the zone file and as such cannot be used for any web or email services.

This is not the end of the story for your ownership and use of your .eu domains, and our domain retention service still has a 100% success rate for release and retention of .eu domains. We have also reduced our prices to just £100 per domain (with discounts available for multiple domains).

Go to our apply now page to send us details of your domains and we will come back to you with a step-by-step guide and fixed quote for release of your domains.

Prices permanently discounted

Great news if you still have a .eu domain that has been ‘server blocked‘ by the European Domain Registry (EURid).

We have now permanently reduced our prices to £100 set-up and £100 annual charge for all .eu domains. If you have multiple .eu domains it is even better – we can now include up to 20 .eu domains on a single contract, so there will only be a £100 annual charge for all these domains.

Please contact us for more information.

Unlock your .eu domain – our system works

We are pleased to confirm that all businesses that signed up to use our services have continued use of their .eu domains following the rules change on 1 January 2021.

Those who have not updated their domain registration details by this date will have seen their .eu domains being placed into SUSPENDED and are no longer able to access their website or email services.

It is not too late to unlock your domain and sign up to our service. Apply now for a quote and we will talk you through how it works and what is needed to unlock your domain and emails.

01/01/21 – New .eu domain regulations

Firstly, Happy New Year!

We are proud to have helped hundreds of UK businesses retain ownership, control and use of their .eu domains before the regulations change on 1 January 2021.

For those who have not updated their .eu domain contact details with an EU-registered office before 1 January 2021 your domain will now have been suspended / blocked by EURid (the EU domain name registry) and your website and emails will have stopped working.

NOT TOO LATE!!!

The good news is that is not too late to retain ownership, control and use of your .eu domain name. Signing up to our service includes updating your domain’s Reg-C details and your website and emails can be back up and running in a matter of hours.

If you want to know more about our service just drop us a line or complete the application form.

1 day to go…

With just one day left to go there is still time to retain your .eu domain before the deadline of 1 January 2021 and to take advantage of our discounted rates.

Give us a call (+44(0)7900 376685) or email us at info@eurodomainsecure.com if you have any questions about what we do and how we can help you retain control, ownership and use of your .eu domain after Brexit.

3 days to go, but still time…

There are now only 3 days to go before the deadline for protecting and retaining your .eu domain before the 1 January 2021.

NOT TOO LATE…

However, it is not too late to do this. The process of signing up with Euro Domain Secure and keeping your .eu domain name takes only a couple of hours and we can get this all done before the deadline for you.

Brexit Deal Announced

So, after many months of negotiating we have a Brexit Trade Deal. Though the details are yet to be announced, one thing that we can be sure of is that the EU have not reversed their decision on registration requirements for .eu domains.

As such the rules are as published and UK businesses and individuals holding .eu domains must release them or transfer to an address in the EU by 1st January 2021.

Good news – we can do that for you!

For more information or to ask a question visit our contact us page.

Discounted charges until 31 December 2020

With just over a week to go before the deadline to change your .eu domain registration details to an address in the EU, we have cut our prices from:

Set-up: £150 to £100

Annual charge: £200 to £100

That means a cost of just £200 + VAT to retain control, ownership and use of your .eu domain, down from the standard charge of £350.

If you are interested in protecting and keeping your .eu domain please complete our online application form and we will send you a fixed quote.
